Specialising in high-quality brickwork facades, Oakmont brings extensive expertise in both the technical and regulatory aspects of façade construction. Our team possesses in-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act, ensuring full compliance and best practice across all projects. In addition, we apply value engineering principles to cavity wall systems—optimising performance, safety, and cost-efficiency without compromising on quality or design integrity. Michael Tame
Founder & Executive Director

Michael brings over 14 years of construction industry experience to Oakmont, having begun his career in the housebuilding sector with one of London’s most prestigious developers, The Berkeley Group. During his time at Berkeley, Michael held a range of commercial roles and contributed to the successful delivery of several landmark residential projects across South West London.
He later joined Countryside Properties, where he oversaw several large-scale regeneration schemes, collectively delivering thousands of new homes and revitalising key urban areas. Michael then moved to Lee Marley Brickwork—the UK’s leading brickwork subcontractor—where he played a central role in leading the company’s ambitious growth initiatives and strengthening its market presence.
Having worked within some of the industry’s most respected and professionally run organisations, Michael brings that same level of structure, rigour, and commercial discipline to Oakmont. His approach reflects the high standards, operational excellence, and client-focused ethos instilled by these leading businesses.
With hands-on experience across both the developer and subcontractor sides of the industry, Michael offers a unique, commercially focused perspective to project delivery. Throughout his career, he has been involved in the successful delivery of construction projects with a combined value exceeding £1.5 billion.
William Gingell
Founder & Executive Director

William brings over 16 years of international construction experience to Oakmont, having begun his career with the globally renowned main contractor, Multiplex. During his tenure, William worked across both the UK and Dubai, gaining a wealth of knowledge across diverse markets and project types. His expertise spans high-end residential, large-scale commercial, and public sector procurement, providing him with a well-rounded and strategic approach to project delivery.
Before co-founding Oakmont, William served as Managing Director at Lee Marley Brickwork, where he played a key role in delivering the company’s ambitious growth strategy alongside fellow director, Michael. His leadership was instrumental in expanding operations and securing major projects.
William’s portfolio includes some of the world’s most iconic developments, such as Wembley Stadium in London, the JW Marriott Marquis in Dubai, and the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. His passion for excellence, combined with deep industry insight, continues to drive Oakmont’s commitment to quality, innovation, and client success.

With over 28 years in the construction industry, Tom Jeffcote brings a wealth of experience and leadership to Oakmont Contracting. A former Royal Marine with 12.5 years of service in high-pressure environments, he is no stranger to managing complex operations under demanding conditions.
Since transitioning to construction, he has successfully founded and run his own company before stepping into a senior role as a Contract Manager. For the past 6 years, he has overseen multiple high-value projects—at one point managing a portfolio worth over £50 million—demonstrating his ability to deliver results at scale with precision and professionalism.
GEORGE WOODWARD
Development Director

George brings over 15 years of industry experience, having successfully delivered more than £100 million in land and development transactions. He has held a number of senior leadership roles across well-established development companies, consistently driving high-value outcomes in land acquisition, planning, and construction.
Throughout his career, George has developed a strong commercial acumen, combining deep technical knowledge of land and planning with a strategic business mindset. His expertise spans the full development lifecycle—from site identification and feasibility through to build-out and delivery.
In his most recent roles, George led the successful execution of high-margin land and development pipelines, working across both the open market and Housing Association sectors. George’s proven ability to navigate both the operational and commercial aspects of development makes him a valuable asset in driving sustainable growth and unlocking company development potential.

Charlotte has joined Oakmont Contracting bringing the valuable experience gained, working in both practice and industry, over the past 23 years. She is a Fellow of the ACCA and specializes in multi-entity reporting, managing cashflow, process improvement and business partnering.
Charlotte has held senior finance roles in construction, technology, and retail with notable experience in statutory accounts, audit management and delivering results in complex environments.
